Handle-Mounted Toolbox
A 3D printed organizer attached to the handle of a filament cart, designed to hold nozzles, tools, and other printing accessories.
Problem
Printing accessories kept ending up scattered around the cart. Nozzles, glue, cutters, and small tools never really had a place to go. Most organizers I found were either bulky or took up too much space.
Design Process
I started by sketching around the shape of the filament cart handle and thinking about what I actually needed to store. From there I made a small organizer in CAD with separate sections for the printing accessories I use most.
I kept the design simple so it would be easy to print, easy to use, and not take up more space than it needed to.
Solution
The final design attaches directly to the cart handle and keeps commonly used tools within reach without taking up extra desk space. The separate sections help organize nozzles, glue, cutters, and other accessories while keeping everything within reach.
Result
The organizer turned unused handle space into a place to keep the things I use most often. It made the setup easier to keep organized without taking up extra space or adding more clutter.
